The Time We Took A Picture Under A Waterfall

Aloha friends!



Today we learned what the word "aloha" means. "Alo" - "to be in the presence of" and "ha" - "the breath of life."

It was our first day here as a full group and we were able to "be in the presence of each other's breath/lives" in an amazing way! Covered by the shade of Kauai's rainforest canopy, we kayaked the Wailua River and hiked our way to the Secret Falls.

After crossing a raging river, trudging through mud and sharing a swim under the waterfall, we quickly became more than a group of acquaintances...

We became a team.

We closed out the day with football (Packers vs Vikings), a swim in the Pacific and dinner at the house. Tomorrow begins another adventure... Bring it on!
