Allie Surfing
Allie headed out early to surf. The boys were getting their boards Garrett arrived safe and sound!
The kids all eat breakfast at the Burger King and a local hangout called Zippy's. We all laughed about the surf boards on the Burger King doors.
We got our suntan oil and sunblock and headed back to the beach for the majority of the day. Everyone used 50 block as to not get burned. I had heard from some other tourist who had been their most of the week that the weather had been wonderful, just watch the sun. We were all good. No one burned, except Robert and James who were too cool to wear sunscreen.
The kids all rented surf boards and Doug and I played with Carter in the sand in front of the hotel. The weather was perfect! The kids didn't last long however, with being tired from their trip and the exhaustion from paddling in the water. Doug did see all the kids catch a few waves. We were really proud at how well all of them were doing.
After Alex had enough of the water she and Carter played in the sand and made some more sand castles. We didn't bring enough towels to
Breakfast
Burger King Hawaiian Style the beach so Allie and I ran over to the ABC store and bought some mats for us to sit on. They would prove to be more than a smart purchase. We used them for the rest of the trip.
The kids were all getting hungry and we went back to the pool, where Robert and James went back to the room to sleep. Carter, Garrett and Allie stayed and played in the pool. It was a great family lunch where we had the most wonderful Pork quesadillas.
