Over labor day weekend, Veronica and I stayed at her friend's beach condo in the small town of Punalu'u, near the North Shore of Oahu. I can't remember the name of this beach, but it is near Kona and was perfect for bodysurfing little waves. Plus it was clear enough to see a turtle. My only complaint is that it is a small beach so people can end up on top of each other. The locals were really nice.
