I had never visited a Presidential Library before or even been in a city which was home to one. As a result, since I was in Atlanta I took advantage of a few hours to go tour the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. Known for his human rights work during is presidency and after, there are several displays relating to his work in that area. Great showcase on the history of the Presidency as well as his 4 years. There is also a replica of JC's oval office on display as well as his Nobel Peace Prize. Several personal items of the former President are also on display. When I was there, they also had a wonderful photographic display on Alaska which was a limited time exhibit. Also, had a great downhome meal in the cafe located on site.

The grounds were incredibly beautiful with a view of the Atlanta skyline. Well kept, green, and numerous flowers in bloom. Very peaceful with statues, ponds and birds. Take advantage and walk the paths. Nice visit while in Atlanta.
