The Great Escape

Bob and Kam

We are beginning our Great Escape part 1 around the USA from December 27th 2010 to August 18th 2011 when we arrive home for a short break and a wedding... The goal is to see as much of the United States as possible within this time frame and make it back in one piece. The travellers are Bob, Kam, Chris (Kam's 13 yr old son) and our English setter puppy Casper which at the start of the trip will be 6 months old. For those wondering what was hanging on the side of our trailer...its a portaboat, folding up to just 6 inches wide

Bob couldn't wait for it to get warmer to try this...it was about 40 degrees F when he launched this from the boatlaunch and rowed to our campsite

Just realized that I hadn't posted a picture with the portaboat in view so here it is. It is hanging on the slideout behind the car. This was taken in CT before we left that said we had to leave Georgia 2 days early due to snow and ice. Now that we are in the Daytona Beach area I can't say that I miss the snow
