Day 27 - North Lake Tahoe, CA

This morning, we had breakfast at the B&B in Napa, picked up the RV in Vacaville, dropped off the rental car, and headed east. We got to Lake Tahoe around 1:30. We decided to stay at North Lake Tahoe (thanks for the recommendation Anne) since it is a little less developed and has fewer casinos.

We did not have reservations so we just drove around for a while. We finally parked the RV on the street and decided to grab some lunch. As we walked into town, Sheila stopped by a little hotel in Tahoe City to check on availability. We did not have high hopes since everything seemed to be booked. As it turned out, someone had cancelled their reservation 5 minutes before walked in, so we got the last room.

We had a great lunch at a lakeside restaurant, then rode bikes along the lake. We are chilling out now and are going out to dinner in a little while.
