Willy: We know that our grandfather loved watching the series Santa Barbara, so we decided to stop here to look around. Go to the Mission, where you can find history, an active church, and a good gift shop. Denny and I purchased a couple of Mood Rings. Take pictures with your family and friends at the fountain with the lily pads.

Arnold: The area is very lush and beautiful. I can understand why Steve Martin chose to live in Montecito, right next to Santa Barbara.

Willy: If you are going up toward San Francisco, and if it is not a cloudy and bleak day, then try to see the Channel Islands from route 101.

Arnold: We met a guy who told us to try the Tsunami Japanese Restaurant.

Willy: At the intersection of Garden and Haley, there is an internet cafe for your convenience. And, if you are staying for a little while, try to go to the California Pizza Kitchen.

Denny: Make sure that you go to the coastal redwoods on your journey north.
