On December 19, 2006 (exactly 1 week from today!) I will be leaving the craziness that is Southern California to embark on my first big around-the-world adventure (hopefully the first of many). Extended travel seems to be in my DNA so I have little doubt that I will quickly catch the bug. Most of my belongings have been put into storage (how did I accumulate so much stuff?). I have a plane ticket and two friends willing to put up with me (at least for now). Let the adventure begin!
