Finally here

After a restless night on George's floor i got up at 6am to catch a tube to the airport. Heathrow wasn't as big as i thought it was going to be and the flight was a good chance to catch up on sleep and the latest films. San Francisco Airport is just outside of the city so got a shuttle bus which weaved in and out of various streets dropping off other tourists to there hotels, before coming to mine (always last!) The hostel despite being a bit run down is really nice and a very interesting place...the main room is an old ball room! By the time i had got to the hostel it was 5pm local time, just in time to pop round the corner to china town with the girls from my room, i'm sharing with 5 other girls, all from england.

I'v had such a great day today, walked down to pier 39 then cycled over the golden gate bridge and strolled along the beach, not a cloud in the sky and 23C. Got some great photos but i'm told its hard to find an internet cafe that you can plug your camera into so might be a while on those.
