I thought I would set up a travel blog for this trip to keep everyone informed of our whereabouts (Lou and myself). As we are currently on flight from DC to San Francisco, I thought this would be a great time to write the first entry. FYI, our flights and destinations are as follows (I am including the time in flight and miles flown just for reference):

Malaysia Airlines flight 783 Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2 hr. 5 min. , ? miles)

Malaysia Airlines flight 784 Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok (2 hr. 5 min. , ? miles)
Singapore Airlines flight 995 Bangkok to Singapore (2 hrs 25 min, 897 miles)
Singapore Airlines flight 408 Singapore to Delhi, India (5hr, 30min, 2,584 miles)

Austrian Airlines flight 0034 Delhi to Vienna, Austria (7 hr 55 min, 3,448 miles)

Lufthansa Airlines flight 3539 Vienna to Frankfurt, Germany (1 hr 25 min, 385 miles)

So tonight we will cross the International Date Line about midnight, which will virtually eliminate Tuesday September 27th from both our lives, as we will go directly from Monday the 26th to Wednesday the 28th. We will make up the missing 24 hours an hour at a time as we go from east to west around the world. Stay tuned for our next entry from Sydney.
