Next it was the bit I was really looking forward to, the drive down the Pacific Highway from San Francisco to San Diego. We went to drop off the Purple Milk Van at Sacramento Airport and ended up keeping it!! I seem to be destined to seek out and photograph mushrooms....I now have a orange one from Canada, a Yellow one from Yosemite and now a speckled one from Southern California....Brilliant.

It came from nowhere, we were lying on the beach in the sun one minute, the next we were in shade...weird!
