Mum and dad visited us this month for dad's 80th and Mother's Day, We had a wonderful time exploring. I took them to Muir Woods on the first day. Then a Mexican restaurant called Maranitas (San Alselmo) for dinner. We ate a delicious meal (one of our best).

The next day we went into San Francisco and visited Twitter. Both were happy to see where Herve worked.Dad also went for a tour to Alcatraz.

Next day we stayed local and visited Larkspur and nearby. Dinner at Insalatas (also San Alselmo) for dad's 80th.

Next day Herve drove us all to Point Reyes and we walked the 'Earthquake trail'. Lots of fun. Herve and dad went up to see the Miwok recreated village while mum and I prepared our picnic lunch.

The next day we did a driving tour of San Fransisco which was so much fun! We drove up to Twin Peaks which was new to me too 😊 We went through all the many different areas: Mission, Castro, Market St CBD,

On the last day together we drove to Napa and had a picnic lunch at one of the wineries (Napa wineries 😊 Very sweet place.

Mum and dad also did a side trip on the Californian ephyr to Reno and saw snow on the way back!

Both ways they took the Marin Airporter to and from the airport. Easy Peasy.

A beautiful visit
