Working at Mammoth
Well once again nothing major has been happening, more work but June is at last open! Just in time as well as I and especially Nath were both getting a bit sick of working at Mammoth, although not a bad place to work we were kind of just pushed around and werent given a whole lot of recognition or respect.

June though is a lot better place to work, our supervisors are all extremely nice and respectful and the whole mountain is just way more relaxed, which is to be expected as it is a much smaller resort. The set up is a lot better as well, the lift crew room is nicer and we have our own lockers to keep our ski gear + jackets in which helps. The shacks at the top of the lift, where we pretty much spend half our time, are also great as they all have cd players and microwaves and good heaters, which makes it a lot easier to pass by those cold, boring days!

Have been having lots of fun still, we had today off so managed to get some really nice skiing in, today was the most quiet day on

This is the dinner that our housemate Curt (who has now left - see next pic)cooked for christmas. Tasted as good as it looks :ยท
the mountain that we have seen so there were almost no lift lines which was great for us, will head out skiing again tomorrow so hopefully will be more of the same!

The weather also has been really nice, around 5-7 degrees ( I know it sounds cold but is actually quite nice) and sunny every day although apparently that is all about to change on Thursday as we are expecting the first day of storms in what is supposed to be a fairly long term change. This is good for June and Mammoth though, as both are still needing about 5 feet of snow for all the trails to be open.

Missing you all and will try update as much as possible.

Eviction notice

Housing decided that as a result of one of our housemates not having a parking permit they would give us a notice of eviction to scare us into getting the permit. Not sure about the actual age of the people that work there but their maturity was outstanding! (cough) I decided it didnt apply to me as they spelt my name wrong
