I didn't stay in L.A. for very long, but i managed to see the main bits of hollywood.

April Eden was kind enough to let me stay at her place for a couple of nights - really nice to be able to just chill without worrying about organising food and accomodation! April is a model/actress/stuntwoman, she's a friend on April Hunter so that's how i got in contact with her. She lives in West Hollywood. It took me about 2 hours to get from the airport to her place, mainly because i took the wrong bus (i blame the americans driving on the "wrong" side of the road! :P) Anyway, i got there eventually. I got chatting to her boyfriend Hans and it turns out he's in a Prog Metal band and that they were practising that evening. He said i could come along if i wante, so i did...

The practise rooms were something else! one of the members of Megadeth has bought an old block of flats in LA and turned every room into a practise room available to rent. There must be about 200 rooms, each secure enough to leave your kit in permanently! I chilled out there for a few hours whilst they practised - definately my kind of music, they were very good.

After that we went back to aprils place and the three of us ate pizza and played on the gamecube+PS2, can it get any better than that? :P

The next day Hans had work so April and I took her dogs for a walk up to a viewpoint where you can see the whole of hollywood which was pretty cool! I spent the rest of the day doing the tourist thing, seeing the sites etc, i'll upload some pics in a min.
