to places i've never been

hi all-
michelle and i are in la right now. we arrived saturday evening and we're leaving this evening for fiji. i've never been out here before. la was fun for a day. there was plenty of opportunity for people watching as we're staying about a five minute walk from hollywood blvd. we spent some time there taking silly pictures (i deleted all of mine because i don't quite know how to use my new digital camera....oops) and enjoying the mild weather. *dad i took a picture of b.b. king's star because i knew you'd like it. it's the thought that counts.* all in all it's been enough time in la. the streets here are packed with gucci sunglasses and seven jeans and funny looking bags....not really my style.
tonight we take off from la at 8:45pm and arrive at 3am fiji time. i'm hoping to find a beach to take a little nap and quietly watch the sunrise.
