In Los Angeles. Woke at 7.15am, still raining heavily although stopped after breakfast which was taken in the Priority Club Members Lounge. Asked at desk what there was to do as Bank Holiday and booked a city trip for the following day. As suggested went to the Westside Pavilion Shopping Mall, a huge complex on numerous levels. Sat and watched the world go by but didn’t buy anything. Caught No3 bus to “Century City” where we bought tickets to see Narnia. Had a look around the shopping complex , finally buying two beach towels from Bloomingdales. Back to see film and then to taxi rank to get taxi back to hotel. Long queue and tipping it down with rain, but eventually our turn and off to hotel we went. Taxi driver, unfortunately, tried to more than double fare and also took us a long way around. Still sorted that with help of concierge. Had a meal at hotel restaurant that night and then to bed early<iframe id="8" class="lj-embed-wrap" style="width: 774px; height: 80px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px; text-align: -webkit-auto; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;" frameborder="0"></iframe>
