Hi Guys,
After last hash up of using this blog, we're all over the place now. I'm on one computer writing and Kev is on another doing the photos as it all went tits up last time.
Kevin's loaded pics from San Francisco:
1 The Police horses at Fishermans Wharf.
2 Golden Gate Bridge, from our ride on the Big Red Fire Engine. ( Mad singing dancing woman runs the tour. Ex show girl who tap dances all over the place.
3 Yellow Duck.... dunno why he's loaded that one ... same as in London!
4&9 'Molling rist', A picture of fog! (SF in thick cold fog, over the bridge, Sausalito in hot sunshine, weird place)

10 Mad woman and 'do as he's told' husband.
They bought an old fire station at auction 30 years ago, (sold, as new engines were too tall for the doors) Purchased a 50's engine to start the bussiness 15 years ago.
Out of SF...
11 Shasta dam. Shasta State Park.
12 Sulpher springs. Hot and smelly. Still lots of snow.
Photos all out of sync.. never mind, while Kevs loading more I'll tell you how He's fine and I'm on antihistermines and despite being covered in DEET.... got beautiful heatrash, bitten all over, including a nice spider bite.
While we were in Redding shopping a thunderstorm errupted and we could see the lightening starting forest fires. These are getting worse and we can smell the smoke in the air. The lake and mountains are now almost completely obscured (those fires are about 200 miles away!)

Kevin seems to think it's amusing to take photos of me eating! I'm not getting much say in these pics!

Kev having trouble with the camera now... so I'll chat for a mo. it's about 80 today, people are swimming and boating on the lake and rafting on the river is popular. They love their toys here! This is not Fat America... most are outdoorsy, fitness freaks.
He's back:

Going for a 15 mile hike now (despite warnings to stay indoors 'cos of air quality) as meals are big and I can't leave stuff on the plate! Think I've put on about 10 pounds! eek!
