Waffles for breakfast led to a drive to the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield. We had a free tour of the factory and saw the various stages of making a Jelly bean. Apparently it takes 17-21 days to make a jelly bean. We got taken through the factory and got free samples during the tour including the newest flavour at the time, honey. After the tour we also tried some flavours from the 'sample bar'. A favourite of mine was the pink grapefruit. They were also developing flavours at the time which I am pretty sure they have made into the Beanboozled game. We got to try skunk spray, pencil shavings, toothpaste, rotten egg, canned dog food, barf, mouldy cheese, booger, baby wipes and centipede. We then had a Jelly Bean shaped pizza in the cafe and looked in the shop. We then left the factory and drove to our hotel in Sonoma. We drove to some outlets, went shopping and ate some food then returned to the hotel.
