1st Aug. Travelled from Mesquite and visited three major places of interest in searing heat (max 113 F). First Las Vegas along the strip, second the Hoover Dam (down under 600 feet of concrete to see the turbines) and lastly the west rim of the Grand Canyon (boy! is it a long way down).
Night stop - Williams AZ.

At last somewhere I have been first - really enjoying the pictures and feel inspired to continue with our own little road trips. Definitely want to ski at lake Louise
