April 10th 2007 Tucson - Part 2

As our time in this sunny city comes to an end, we wanted to share with you a few more photos that represent some of our favorite memories of the past three months. We’re not sure when it will be possible, but we definitely look forward to some future opportunity to return here.

We leave Tucson on April 12 headed for Chicago. Rather than retrace a big chunk of I-40 (and old Route 66) on which we drove west in January, we have decided to head up through the canyons and national parks of Utah before reaching Denver and then crossing the Great Plains of Nebraska and Iowa. We have our fingers crossed that we don’t encounter any major snowstorms! Film at 11:00 . . . or sometime after that.

happy Trails
I am sure you will be sad to leave the west. i lived in New mexico for 5 years and loved it. I went on a college geology trip with scientists in a 5 day raft trip down the Grand Canyon and will never forget how awe struck a gal from veazie Maine was. Utah will be spectacular. Happy travels and see you Eastward this summer! Drive safely and stop at every truck stop you can...xx
