Memorial Day weekend 2008. The weekend that I was coming home to see family, and take a walk down Memory Lane. Elementary school

What memories! I enjoyed recess, and got pretty good at playing tether ball. My nickname in grade school was "Bucky". I had bucked teeth as a child.

What a great story...I think it was called Sierra Vista Junior High School (Go Wildcats), or at least that was what it was called when I attended 7th-9th grades in the mid 70's. I to remember the drive-in theater, ( I went to Carmicheal too), I am sadden that the AW isnow gone, I am even more sadden that the old Buena is gone, while the new Buena looks nice, it doesn't have the character the old Buena had...remember the stables behind the school past the practice fields...through the wash (now a road)...thanks for the walk down memory lane.
