Day 24

Today we had a short day, 222 miles, arrived at our destination, Springerville, AZ. at 3:30 pm. Have gone 5174 miles to this point. We have to do our laundry, want to clean car, adjust reverse, low, Rocky Mountain brakes and polish the brass but it is raining here in Springerville. We left Sedona, AZ. at 8:25 am, got to our first gas stop in Heber, AZ. at 12:15 pm, after fueling up we decided to get hot dogs. We were under a roof at the fuel pump, while we were eating, it started to rain, then sleet. We decided to wait there until the storm passed. The storm never did pass, it did let up, so we put the curtains on, glad we did because it rained all the way to Springerville. The day otherwise was uneventful. After laundry is finished we will eat at the Safari restaurant next door to our motel. If the rain stops, I'll work on the car.
