Last Sat. we had lunch with Shirley & Marge to celebrate Shirl's birthday. This week was the Sonoita lay group meeting but I couldn't go to the Abbey today, so Sis went as my "stand-in." She reported the talk about the special tree on Gardner Canyon Rd..... and got report on the plans for the County Fair in September. It is now monsoon season and things are turning green there...horses running thru the tall grass there and the smoke of the wildfires of early summer cleared completely now.
