I haven’t posted any blogs since January, primarily because I have been in the same area since then. I have entitled this Lake Havasu City because the programme doesn't let you just specify an area. Storm

One of the reasons I wanted to drive through from Oatman to Kingman was because the scenery from Kingman down into Laughlin is beautiful. Last time I was through there it was raining....this time I hit rain, hail, and snow. Quite a storm!

Lake Mohave

The Colorado must've been one heck of a river in the early days of this world. It is the river that runs through the Grand Canyon. It is still a big, fast running river in southern Arizona. You can see the volume of water running out of the dam gates on Lake Mojave.

Tumbleweed

There were lots of these colourful vine type covers on the tumbleweeds along the roadside in the Lake Mohave area.

Laughlin

I took this shot of Laughlin out of my bedroom window.

Most of the casinos line the river and have developed a river walk which connects all the casinos. Harrah's is the newest here.

Wild Flowers

Wild flowers are all over the place right now. I am going to try to go out to Death valley while I am in Pahrump to see what is blooming on the road out there.
