Had a great nights sleep, weather is warm and there was a nice breeze.
Today we went up to Lake Havasu, on the Parker Dam - talk about boys and their toys, this is where all the yuppies come with their speed boats - some powered by twin V8's and some even turboed. They aren't there for anything other than showing off their toys and their bodies, ladies and gentlemen you would have loved it - see the photo's.
The city of Lake Havasu was built by none other than Mr McCullough (thats right Mr chainsaws himself) in 1986 so everything is brand spanking. Lots of money so why not take down the London Bridge and rebuild it over here at a cost of 7.1 mill - yep he did it. The original London bridge stands across a water way between Lake Havasu City and an Island, looks great and he has built a little Londonary around it.
We took a boat trip out on the Lake to a copper head, the earth is copper coloured - it is copper. Lots of boats out here, apparently in the summer you can walk across the whole area boat
to boat. Lots of young ones out here with Daddies boat, all drinking and partying.
Then its back to Parker where we had a quick look at the Blue Water Resort Casino - dingy, smelly (cigarette smoke) and a whole lot of people who look like they shouldn't be there - looked like they couldn't afford it.
Back to the RV, air con on and time out - we are typing this.
KFC for dinner and it was nice - bit different than ours as two shops in one AW restaurants selling similar stuff to BK and KFC at the same counter.
Sorry about not putting the photo of our RV inbetween the two trucks, will do it this time.
Garth - check out the KFC prices
