I wanted to let people know about a great website with a live stream video for watching bears fish for salmon at National Geographic Wildcam Grizzlies

I don’t know how long the salmon runs. I assume once the run is over the bears will move on to feed elsewhere. The camera is at the McNeil River and the number of bears vary. There are several different fishing techniques. Last month when we first saw the live video at the Pratt museum in Homer, there were more bears and more interaction between them. Sometimes there are technical difficulties with the camera, due to the bears doing their own camera readjustments. The live stream is from 7am to 10pm Alaska time and they play highlights when the camera is off. I find it fascinating to watch from the comfort of our RV. Today is a rainy cold day and we’re having an off day, so it’s been fun to check on the bears. I recognize some of them from their fishing technique and their favorite place to fish.
