Day 47 - August 1, 2010 - Kenai, AK to Homer, AK

Sunny - low 60s. Left Kenai today headed to Homer. Still feeling badly, but a little better - feel like driving. Got to Homer and stayed in a municipal campground at $15.00 per night. This campground is located right next to a campground whose rates are $83.00 per night. We have the same view, the same waterfront sites, only we do not have electric which is all that park provides. Went for a walk and sat in front of the RV to watch the tide come in and go back out. Our neighbors, Dad, Mom, and Riley ( about the same age as Briar and wears similar glasses) sat and talked. They were from Kenai and came down to do some fishing. Cooked cheeseburgers on the "Smokey Joe" -- HMMMMM DELICIOUS!!! Still windy. Turning in for the night.
