Arms are tired from flying but Cancun couldn't be better !!

Left Regina Nov. 6th , headed to Calgary and then flew to Cancun on the 9th. Loved the balmy weather that greeted us at the airport. We had expected the beach to be torn up from hurricane IDA but no evidence of it anywhere. AHhhh !! two weeks to just relax and enjoy the sun !!!

Of course , the morning after arriving we have to walk the beach , just to prove to ourselves " we are here" !!!

3 When we didn't walk the ocean beach in the morning we ventured out on this path in front of our hotel .... a really nice walk to a Starbucks for coffee.

It was really nice to see that all the dishes were labelled as to what was in them .... helped to make a person a little more adventuresome when you had an idea what to expect !!

Loved the peacocks and other birds just walking around the resort ....quite tame till you tried to get too close !!

The two days we rented bikes and biked the South Point bike trail were the greatest .... 30 kms. one day ... whew !!!
