March 6, 2014 Roger would be proud of us. All by ourselves we stood by the highway and caught a bus to San Antonio (about 35 miles southeast of PE) and then a taxi took us the next 8 miles or so into the village of Mazunte and to the beach at San Augustinillo. This is our main form of transportation.

Hanging on to the back of the colectivo. Can you imagine kids in the USA getting home from school this way?

Casa de Lily Pool

We get to use this pool that is across the street from our house. Great way to cool off at the end of the day.

We are in love with this cafe and Lynn and David who manage it.

Stray Dog Escort Service

Dogs go with us just about everywhere we walk. Different ones every time, but they all look alike to me.

Pretty house

This house is very near Dos Palmas so we walk by it nearly every day.

Birds
Yes, we saw all those birds in one day. Wish there was more of a varity where we're staying. Mostly noisy grackles here.
