Here is my group in the college watching a movie :D Hola!
Como estan? I am fine. Had a very busy weekend, but very enjoyable!
Friday
I didn't end up sleeping over my first family's house so I had to wake up at 5 a.m. to go to my school. We got there at 6 and we were off. It was a long ride, like 3 hours, but nice because the 3rd year class is really funny. I like them a lot. The boy i like didn't go which was a bit sad but I had fun without him. We watched a movie on the bus and talked. We got to the college for a tour around 9. It was a really beautiful school. Too bad it didn't have medical courses, but if my plans to go to Harvard or Brown don't work out, I am strongly considering going there to become and interior designer. It is really cheap too! Only $8,000 per yea. And it isn't like exchange so I would be able to go home when I wanted. We watched a quick introduction film and then had breakfast. The food was good. I had pancakes and hashbrowns. Then we took a tour. The library was incredible. The
El Hospital
In the hospital with the nurse who gave us the tour. biggest I have ever seen. The also had a gorgous gym, but you can't live at the school, like you could in the USA. We finish the tour around 12 and went to our next location, which was right up my ally. We went to a pediatric hospital. It is like Boston's or Hasbor. It was really nice! I can't wait to work in a place like it. It wasn't a long tour, but it was good. The next place we went was the zoo! yes katelynn, the zoo! hahaha There was so many animals. It was a big zoo. I loved the tiggers. I had to go in the snake house and almost passed out!! There was also lions, bears, llamas, etc. We were there for a good three hours. I even got to eat a good hamburger! I did however almost get lost but only for a little bit. Finally we went to a plaza, which is like a mall. And we all know how much I love the mall, so that was definitely good. We got home around 8:30 p.m. and I was exhausted so I passed out as soon as my head hit my pillow.
El Oso
In the zoo, a wicked cool piture of this polar bear!! Saturday
I woke up at 6 and called Nannie. She was happy. Then I went back to sleep because I was still tired. When I rewoke up, I was put to work! I had so much house stuff to do. I was not happy. 😞 I had to do laundry, iron, wash dishes, etc. I finally go to take a shower and do homework around 3. Then my cousin called, and invited me and my sister to the movies. It was a nice way to relax after all that work. We saw
Manores sin Control also known as Unaccompanied Minors. It was cute. It was a Christmas movie, which was a little wierd, but it was pretty fun. Then I went home around 7:30 and went to bed.
Sunday
My host father and I woke up early and went to Walmart. The keyboard on the computer broke so we had to buy a new one. We ended up going food shopping too. We didn't buy the keyboard though. We went to office depo to buy it. It was right on the other side of Walmart so it was ok. We had breakfast and then I
Que bonita paraja
A cute picture of a couple of elephants!! read a book. I wanted to use the computer, but my host father was chatting with Leslie, his daughter in Germany. Then we all left to visit my aunt and uncle. We had lunch with them. They aren't married, but my uncle's house was really pretty! And the food was wicked good! We stayed there until 8:30 watching tv, eating, drinking, and talking. It was nice and relaxing, but it made me miss my real family. Its ok though. I talked to adam for a while, which was nice, cuz I missed him. We don't talk alot.
Which brings us to today. Not too much going on. Just in school. I didn't wanna go this morning because I have a cold, but I had to. My english teacher told me she was quitting and everyone was happy because she is mean and doesn't really know english. We will get a new teacher wednesday. Other than that everything is the same.
Hope everything is going well for you guys, if anyone even reads this. hahaha
I miss you all and love you!
Shayna P.S. Only 98 days til I go home. I can't believe it!! And in two days it will be my seventh month aniversary here in Mexico!!
