Day 52 - Another tough day

A similar day to yesterday. Today's chores included a trip to the internet café. Here we heard the bad news - Man City lost 3-nil at Chelsea in their opening game of the new season.

Another storm was brewing which we watched from the edge of the sea. It seemed to have had a positive effect on the waves and the surfers were out en masse. All very impressive, although it's bound to be far easier than it looks. Ed amused Gemma by successfully playing chicken with 6ft breaking waves, earning the soubriquet "faster than a cheetah driving a bullet train" from the admiring beach-bums (... poetic licence strikes again).

The storm also had an effect on the wildlife and a substantial part of the evening was spent coaxing a crab out of our open-fronted bungalow. What fun.
