Today the first real day for David. We both attended the USD - ITESO orientation. This year there are 238 studnets particpating in the program. David has a total of 25 students between the two classes (Comparative and Mexican Politics).
The ITESO campus is absolutely incredible. There is an incredibile amount of trees on the campus and so it is noticably cooler because of all of the shade that surrounds the building.
David and I found our own little apartment. So we are so excited because it is nearly half the cost of the hotel options. Moreover, it has its own beautiful patio and is off a quiet street. It's also two blocks from the Centro Magno - where you can see movies for $5 per person and get large popcorn and beverage for a combined total of $5. We saw Star Wars XI there. I was glad to finally understand the whole story - I finally get it: never let your hand get cut off (this is bad) and at all costs, avoid having your second hand cut off along with your two legs!

Summer 2005 in Guadalajara, Mexico
I am finishing up my last two months of my 2004-2005 Fulbright grant in Mexico and David is teaching Comparative and Mexican Politics here for the USD summer program.
