Travelogue
My first stop in my fieldtrip was Guanajuato. It was really chilly because it was morning so my family and I were so hungry and we took a delicious breakfast at these really cozy restaurant and we had the most beautiful view, it was really calm and peaceful I decided to take a picture of this old beautiful tree with pigeons and what I loved the most is that is was not crowed but you could see the old cars of the mines use as flower pots.
This picture is one of my favorites because it just looks perfect, it took in the highway, but we were stuck in traffic for five hours in our way to Leon to buy really pretty shoes. When the traffic starting flowing I had beautiful views of farms, harvest and big trees and not old trees were pretty but the only that caught my attention was this one. The only thing I did not like was my butt hurting after seven hours of being sitting in the car stuck in the horrible traffic.
The next stop in Guanajuato was the University of Guanajuato. It has a lost of stairs, you can
get really tired just going up and coming down. My dad was really proud to tell me that he studied there and started telling all his experiences as a freshmen but I sort of got bored and did not listen to the other half of his stories. The thing I did not like is that is started raining and it was people everywhere.
The next stop when I was in Guanajuato was the theater and the center of Guanajuato. There was a presentation in the middle of the street about Don Quijote de la Mancha and some other work of Shakespeare it was crowed and because of that I lost my mom in the middle of the street and twenty minutes later I found her. I could not get into the theater because it was closed.
When we were leaving from Guanajuato to Queretaro it was kind of already sunset. So I took the opportunity to take a picture of the beautiful sunset. So I took my time because we were stuck in traffic another two hours, so I was tired but it was worth it anyway. My mom said it was a real weird phenomenon and that
it was a one-life time opportunity to take the picture so after she begged for the picture I took it.
My mom was pissed at me because all the way from Guanajuato to Queretaro I was bothering her, but then she just laughed and started bothering me, we spent a lot of quality time together it was great. There was a perfect curtain sunset while being in the car sitting like forever, with my poor butt hurting, and my mom pissed off at me. I just ignore the world for one second and took the photo, nobody matter at that time because it was just my camera, and me watching new chances to remember forever.
I arrived to the “Callejon del Beso” it was a real crowded places but this time is was filled with love the environment because there were a lot of couples kissing. Supposedly is for good luck for the couple so every couple got his kiss and their photo it was amazing to see a place full of energy and love at the same time, I would love to return their when I am older.
There was a lucky fountain in this beautiful
garden and in the side a big great church, but I could not get in because the government was repairing the church but anyway it look beautiful. In my way to go to the fountain I hurted myself because there was a weird step and I did not see it and boom I fell down and hurt my ankle. But I did save my phone and camera for falling down and breaking.
I went to callejon del beso and the native people taught me a legend that if you kissed with the person you loved, you would last a long time as a couple, it was a small place but it was fill with joy and love.
Another sunset but this one is different because I saw it as my way to go home because I was returning to Puebla, I already missed my friends. It was cold it was around five or six and all of a sudden it started to rain. But it did not matter.
I was with my dad and my camera in the callejon del beso and all the walls were written with couples name, and we were in a very small
alley it was a rainy day.
Selfie with my mother in the “centro” of Guanajuato, some people were playing music really loud in the restaurant that we were eating in, we started dancing and we did not care who was watching.
This picture is my dad and I crossing the street in Guanajuato, it was eight in the morning so it was chilly. I spent a lot of quality time with my mom and dad it was kind of fun.
My mother is on top of the alley taking a pic of my dad and I, couples names were written everywhere. I was tired but the good thing there was love all around my family and me.
