That the Day of the Dead is a holiday for Mexicans celebrating their deceased families' members. This tradition is passed done by the Aztec empire, and turned more about Catholicism. Also, Day of Dead survived for more than 3,000 years .If feel shocked because the Spanish Conquistadors wanted to destory this ritua; however, it survives. It connects to class because many traditions that have been tried to be destroyed, whind up not only surviving,but influences our lives today.
