Ruins and howler monkeys
No Uber in Bandit Country yet?? They seem so curious, not seeing City girls often. They welcoming and hospitality is such a nice things. Fondly, Dolores

No Uber
No, Dolores, there was no Uber there. :-) Keep in mind I was there in 2012, perhaps before Uber's time, or at least on a mass international scale, like today. Besides, hitching is such a common way for the locals to get around, it makes sense to do it, even as a foreigner. And yes, we encountered lovely, wonderful people wherever we went.
