The East Cape Road from San Jose del Cabo to La Paz was, for many hours, like this. What was supposed to be no more than a 2-hr drive took us 5 1/2 hours!!

A friendly burro we met along the East Cape Rd. This was just after we had gotten stuck in the sand and had to push the car out.

The scenery along the East Cape Rd. was pretty spectacular; lots of beautiful, huge home on secluded coves also.
