Mount Royal, St. Laurent Blvd., Old Montreal

At the airport we purchased a 3 day transit pass (less than $20 each) so we have lots of travel options.

Today we got the #14 Amherst bus and then transferred to the #11 bus which took us to the top of Mount Royal.

We walked from the top of Mount Royal down to St. Laurent Blvd and "dined" at Schwartz's restaurant a landmark Montreal Smoked Meat Place since 1928. Mmmmmmm!

Continuing on along St. Laurent Blvd. we ended up walking around parts of Old Montreal before catching the #14 bus back so we could sit back and enjoy an afternoon beer - a travel ritual - and do the blog for now anyway. We will head back to Old Montreal in the evening for dinner and a few night shots.
