The amazing horseshoe falls also known as the Canadian Falls
On May 12,2010 our natural disasters class from Birchmount Park have a fun filled pack time at the Great Canadian Niagara Falls. The whole class was excited to get out of the school for the day and enjoy the great views and attractions the Fall provide. We left the school at around 8:00 a.m and planned to get there around 10:00 a.m. The bus ride there was alright, we played cards most of the time, when we were not sleeping. After a long bus ride we had finally reached the falls and almost right away we headed for the Maid of the Mist prepared to get wet. 100 stairs later we reach the maid of the mist and many were afraid of getting wet. Fortunately we got to wear ponchos so we didnt get to wet. After the maid of the mist we were suppose to go on a hike, but no one was really up for it because everyone was so soaked. So we decided to just explore the great Niagara Falls and the beauty it has provided. The main strip was so exciting, it almost had everything you could think of. From haunted houses to miniputt we were

so excited to start the day. I think the best part of the day was when we went to the haunted house (Screamers) everybody was tripping out, and no one wanted to go in first. So i ended up going in first and i could hear everyone screaming behind me. Everyone was holding on to my backpack trying to not get lost because it was so dark, we would get trapped in corners and not know where to go.

Once we left Screamers, we ended up going to get something to eat, and some how ended up at an arcade. Adam and Justin were having a great time acting like they were a kid in a candy store, it was pretty funny. We also spent alot of time in the mini putt which was really fun and before we left we had to go on to the bumper cars. Only some of us went on to the bumper cars, but it was funny watching them run into each other. We ended up going on them again and this time everyone went on, but there were not enough cars so some of us ended up going in the passenger

seat. Before we left, we all went to this ice cream shop i forget what it's called, but it was pretty good.

The bus ride home was really long, it was hard to fall asleep but we ended up getting home in one piece. I was so tired when i got home but i had such a great time and we had so many story to tell the rest of are grade. Thinking about it, i cant wait to go back and visit again, I just hope i get the opportunity.
