Ontario has some of the best & top notch sites for travelling & vacationing in. Whether one is up for a road trip into the Great Northern Climate of Ontario for adventure into the great outdoors or rather for more of a relaxing note in a cottage like setting or a campsite. One can find many different fun filled activities throughout the seasons. Especially in the summer months, few take the drive up North for a merrier pleasure for a state of relaxation within a cottage setting set into nature. Then in the winter months of the year, many go for a more of an adventurous nature, whether it be for a skiing trip or even to step forth onto some of the best trails for snowmobiling and than, there are some whom venture off into a more relaxing winter sporting, where some mainly go for an ice fishing adventure onto a frozen lake!!!!

Northern Ontario is subdivided between the Northeastern Regions & Northwestern Regions. The Regions that are North & East of Lake Huron & Superior lies the Northeastern Region. Within this Region, lies many Counties & Districts and some of them are well known to many, simply for the vast cottage, camping & travelling lifestyles shared by many. Some Counties found within this Region are Sudbury, Algoma, Cochrane, Nipissing & Mantoulin, Parry Sound & Muskoka. The Region that is just North and West of Lake Superior and West of the Hudson & James Bay is called Northwestern Ontario. As well as, most of the Subarctic Ontario is included in this Region too. The Northwest goes all the way to the Manitoba-Ontario Boarder Line!!!

In Ontario North Country there is a vast difference within the climate. The Canadian Shield covers most of Northern Ontario, in which is a vastly rocky plateau terrain. In the winter months, its extremely cold in temperature, where as in the summer months of the year, its extremely hot!!!

Most of the cottage lifestyles are mainly within the Muskoka, Huntsville, North Bay & Parry Sound Regions, and the surrounding areas. Within these Regions, one can find some of the most breath taking scenes & views throughout the seasons. Some cottages rest on the banks of some lakes & bays, where one can over look a view of the lake & tree lines throughout the seasons. The summer months are by far the best time of year to take advantage of the great weather for water sports & camp fires. Then in the winter months, one can enjoy the merrier pleasures of winter sports like snowmobiling, skating, cross-country skiing & even snow showing. And then get all cozied up in front of a nice toasted fire or wood stove with a nice cup of coco or hot chocolate while breathing in the winter landscapes of nature!!!!

In Northern Ontario, there are just a few towns that are quite appealing for tourists & cottage goers, in which have such a unique friendliness & that warm hearted touch, as well as that feeling that is shared amongst good strangers, neighbours & friends. These towns are very beautiful to visit throughout the seasons, especially within the warmer months of the year. In particular, the City of Kawartha Lakes, Parry Sound, North Bay, Hunstville, Muskoka, Owen Sound & the Lake Simcoe areas. One will find that these areas have the most interesting cottages around, as well as a few other Northern Regions within Ontario alone!!!!

For those whom are into seizing all the moments of nature & enjoying the great outdoors. Within the Fall months of the year, the Lake Simcoe area has by far some of the best views for those whom are into enjoying all the colorful colors that Fall has to offer, and that cool Fall crisp air too. Then in the winter months of the year, Lake Simcoes is known to completely freeze over for those whom like to go ice fishing and is recognized as being the "Ice Fishing Capital" of Ontario, to many alike!!!!

In the Parry Sound area, one can find that it resides within the 30,000 Island District of the Georgian Bay Region. Parry Sound has some of the most breath taking scenic views that simply touch the eyes, and even ones' soul. While many partake in some water sporting activities within the warmer months of the year, the Georgian Bay Area in Parry Sound is well known to holding just a few sunken treasures at the bottom of the Bay. Some sunken treasures that some may have noted about lie in a small underwater graveyard filled with some sunken ships. Than there are those, whom are into the scuba diving adventures and venture off into the deep waters of the Georgian Bay & view the underwater world within the Great Northern Region of Parry Sound!!!! When one ventures out into the Great Northern Regions of Ontario, especially within the Muskoka Region. Northern Ontario holds one of the largest parks within Ontario and is highly known as Algonquin Park. For those daring to go into the depths of nature & the wilderness of the great outdoors. One can come eye to eye with some of the most fascinating faces of nature. For those Ski & Snow Boarder enthusiasts out there, there is a place located in Collingwood called Blue Mountain. The location where Blue Mountain resides, situates a small nestled village situated at the foot of the sloops and is there for those whom are into partaking into many different adventures & ventures of touring many unique shops, vastly cultured restaurants & bars and many other industries within a very distinctive nature. There are also many interesting & diversified in nature activities for all. A lot of the young crowded adults & teenagers mostly venture off to the Sauble Beach & Wasaga Beach areas in the summer months of the year. In which, there are so many events that are catered to all ages & generations as well, and can hold many live concerts & festival events, and water sporting events that cater to a vast selection of competitions. Than there are many whom also venture off to these Beach locations and partake in many water sporting activities such as wake-boarding, sea-doing, riding a watercraft, jet-skiing, wind-surfing, motoring, sailing, fishing, water-skiing & of course lots and lots of swimming.
