Day 1

We flew to Halifax and walked the boardwalk. We saw Theodore the tugboat and ate cows ice cream. We had great time at the lower deck, which is a pub and we stayed at a place on airbnb.

Day 2

We woke up and drove to Bay of Fundy at Wolfville. We saw both the high and low tide at same location. We drove to Blomindon provincial park saw the tide, walked the cave.

We went to Peggy’s cove and ate at the Rhubarb restaurant where we had the best biscuits ever.

We took our deserts and ate them on citadel hill

Day 3

We arrived in St. John’s and drove to Gros Morne. We ate at trip advisors best restaurant in Newfoundland - Justin thyme's bean & bistro. We later stayed at the hostel.

Day 4

We went to Westbrook pond and saw the Fiords of Gros Morne National park

drove to Norris Point for dinner, had some local beers listening to local music from Jeff Quilty.

Day 5

We drove to trinity and stayed in an amazing hostel. After we checked in we went to the historic town of trinity which is beautiful. Finished off the evening by eating a traditional Newfoundlander dinner at the hostel.

Day 6

We woke up and had a communal dinner with homemade bread at the hostel. We then hiked one of the worlds best voted trails called Skerwink trail in trinity east, which was absolutely stunning. We went to Ellison home of the root cellar where we saw root cellars. We saw the sealing monument and hiked beautiful island trails. We then went to puffin island and saw many puffins. After that we drove to St. John's to go to our new airbnb. We were going to Sobey's and didn't know how to go there so we asked for directions. A lady was going there and we decided to take her instead of her calling a cab. We found out a very close family member had passed away and I'm waiting to hear back for details

Day 7

We got up and drove to signal hill. First trans Atlantic signal. Hiked the inner and outer trail. Beautiful sights but the best part was the outer took us to the streets of the homes on the harbour. Colourful houses stacked on top and behind each other. Beautiful tiny homes with trails connecting them.

We went to see the terry fox monument. I've been to the Victoria and Thunder Bay monuments.

We went to Quidi Vidi a small village on the harbour where the brewery and shops are. Local artists sold and were making their products. We then shopped and explored downtown. Gielyn found a candy store where she fell in love. There was Vanilla coke for 32$ a case because Canada no longer carries it. We went for a great dinner in Ducksworth pub. Known for being a great friendly local bar.

We went for drinks and a sing along afterwards. Drank Skreetch which I found was bad but Gielyns expression was priceless. We then dance to dancing in the dark as they dimmed the lights.

Day 8

We went to cape spear and witnessed a beautiful sunrise. It would be the first in North America being the furthest east in the western world. That afternoon we shopped some more before having lunch at Piatto and ate pizza from a wood burning oven and it was delicious. After lunch I purchased the fedora that I have always wanted. We later went to The Rooms, St. John's museum. For dinner we

enjoyed ourselves in Oliver's restaurant for our last meal. It's highly reviewed by all. We were served by the owner, who is incredibly proud of their work. It was a great experience and a great way to say goodbye to the island.

The next day we will be heading back to reality on the main land.
