Hopefully I'll be starting my Trans Can bicycle ride Monday. Change in the start though as the ferry from Bar Harbor isn't running until the 30th! Instead,cycling up rt 1 along the Maine coast to St John New Brunswick. Should take 2 or 3 days. From St John I'll take the ferry to Digby Nova Scotia and then bike along the bay of Fundy and then to Pictou. Another ferry ride from Pictou to Prince Edward Island.

Retirement was so fun, I decided to do it again! After 8 years in Maine and 8 summers working as a bicycle mechanic, it's time for a change. My friend Anna retired and we decided to do a Nordic Tour. Our plan is to bicycle up the coast of Norway to Kirkenes and then south into Finland. We'll bike down to the head of the bay of Bothnia and then into Sweden. How long? We want to be home for the holidays!... full info
