The scenery improved as we drove into Manitoba. Trees, lakes and canola fields! Long hot day of driving. 3 more nights and we'll be home. It's been a remarkable journey. Can't wait to get home and put it all together.

Just entered South Dakota! First day of travel went pretty smooth. Minor change of plans this am. . . Had planned on taking my vehicle but at the last minute decided to take Mike's truck! A little bit of extra work - but I think it was the right decision. More room, better tires, 4 wheel drive for the snow that is predicted, etc.... full info
