Oh fuck, do I miss you!
I'm so antsy I can't sit still. It feels like my stomache is crawling around inside my chest. 6 days away (well, 5 I suppose, it is after midnight!), and it is almost starting to feel like I'm really leaving.

Talked to Florian today, and it turns out they will all be in Curitiba, Brazil, not in Sao Paulo as planned. They won't get to Sao Paulo until the 27th, so it looks like I'm taking the bus (10 hours) from Sao Paulo to Curitiba once I land. I'm actually sort of excited about that, kinda weird, I don't know. I desperately need to learn a bit of Portuguese now, if I'm going to be trying to get around by myself. Hopefully I can sleep more on the bus, and actually arrive in Curtiba with some energy left. Assuming an hour wait between landing in Sao Paulo and jumping on the bus I'll be travelling 30 hours straight. I'm still not sure how long the wait at customs will be, or how far to the bus station, so I need to add that in. It seems impossible to find out where/how much for the bus online, everyone talks about taking the bus, but no website to be found.

The second Florian logged off of msn the travel agency called to tell me that somehow my Brazilian visa had showed up. We sent it Friday, it came back Monday, this after he warned me that it would take a minimum of 10 days. Nice! It started to feel like this is actually going to happen, like I'm supposed to be going. Hopefully I get a chance to tell him tomorrow. I did tell Carlos, so he might already have heard.

Nervous, excited, scared, EXCITED!!! I don't even know what to be right now
