Today we were supposed to travel to Swan River, but we had a bit of a hiccup this morning when we discovered the Safari van wouldn’t start. It's that cold here. Hainsworth managed to get a boost from CAA, and we were on the road by the early afternoon.

Swan River features an Extra Foods, a movie theatre, and a plethora of chain store restaurants. In addition, our motel room is equipped with a VCR, and the front office has not only finches and a tabby cat named Rusty, but also VHS rentals. Blais and Del Campo collected SS Girls and Twelve Monkeys, so we’re settling down to an evening of movies and microwaved meals.
