Loaded up on ham, eggs and toast, we headed back down the hill and into the school in Birtle. After our morning show we headed to Hamiota, where the reputation of the Crocus Corner Pizza Loca preceded itself—so much so that we enjoyed two meals there in one day! DO try the quesadillas.

A brief exploration of Hamiota revealed a Co-op grocery store, a hardware store, and other interesting corners to explore. We spent the afternoon in the library reading to each other on the carpet, much to the amusement of the librarian.
