Heh, remember the saga of the dented rental car that Larry and I returned to Sydney, Australia. We had charged it on our RBC Avion Visa card and hoped the rental car insurance would cover the damage. When we got home from Australia, there was a cheque for the full amount of the repair plus tax. $1,055. The system works. We just had to fax all the copies to Visa and they investigated and came through. The moral of the story is - don't pay for extra insurance, if you have a Visa card that includes Car Rental insurance but phone your card provider because not all Visa cards are created equal.
