To Van City!

Geoff and I were really excited to see the lights of Vancouver. It seems like we've been on the road for a while, and Vancouver is pretty much our final destination. after this it's homeward bound... we've got a lot to do before then! we've got five events and market rides in vancouver, and one market ride at whistler. We've also got to do a lot around vancouver just for fun.

the drive was straightforward, and it was interesting to find ourselves on relatively even ground after three days in the mountains. we hit some nasty traffic coming into surrey... that was also a novel feeling, as we haven't seen traffic since toronto.

we pulled up to the carmana plaza hotel just after dark and got ourselves established... and readied ourselves for the week to come!

this tunnel was at the bottom of a very steep hill. i have to say it was kind of scary it was so steep

it turned out to be a great day on the last part of our mountain haul.

this trailer is what the team at boom initially had in mind for the shave labe, but things didn't work out. it definately would have looked cool!

it was between all you can eat fish and chips and this restaurant. we eventually opted for the family restaurant. it was good.

here we are approaching surrey bc, which is located just outside of vancouver.

swat in burnaby
at the yard where we are keeping the trailer, there are dozens and dozens of vehicles used for the movie industry... there are new york city transit buses, ttc buses, san fransisco fire trucks, and police cars. this is a swat bomb disposal unit.
