Autumn Leaves
Does it get any more beautiful?Friday marked the end of our great careers in Kelowna. It was a day of mixed emotions but overwhelmingly exciting! The whole idea of the 'end of work' and the 'beginning of an adventure' has yet to sink in and as much as I wasn't expecting it I felt sad leaving my office for the last time. Over the years I have made some very good friends within the company and I will miss their daily presence and support. But onward! The week ahead includes vacating the rental apartment we have been living in since mid-August and disposing of "stuff"...lots and lots of "stuff". We thought we'd cleaned out most of everything in August but WOW there's a lot left to go. This Friday we head to Vancouver for a few days with our son and to visit my sister and see her new digs that she just moved to in Vancouver. Then on Tuesday it's Bon Voyage. Stay tuned.............
