We are dry camping in Jasper National Park, in Loop 30 which is way (waaaaay) on the outskirts of the park. Wildlife sitings were almost promised, but so far .... Again, I'll let the pictures that follow do the talking. The only thing I did not get pics of was our trip to Miette Hot Springs today. Two huge pools, one 102 degrees, the other 104. Beautiful experience, beautiful views.

Breathtaking views
OK, so where do wild animals just stroll around the city streets. In Alaska. Breathtaking views of Lake Maligne. If I were only a painter. Not sure where you are now, maybe back in the US. Keep me posted. Brad

The mountain goats
Alex wants to know if you petted the mountain sheep. Love the pic of the elk. Nice rack. EJ was trying to give you a call. Told him you may not have cell service.

Alex, we did not try to pet the ewes or their lambs. They need to stay as wild as possible. That is tough though, too many of us in that picnic area. Mike, tell EJ that we may not have had cell service when he tried to call. We were without for about 8 days. We should have it now most of the time. If he would like to be able to see our TravelBlog he can send us an email with the address for us to use. We will respond ASAP. Dad
