Mountains.......

Well this is our third day in Jasper National Park after yet again a crazy train delay.

Yesterday we climbed Whisper Mountain which is literally behind our hostel. Its 8km up and 8km back down again (so roughly 10 miles) and we did it all! Took about 4 hours to get up and just under 2 to get back down. The views were amazing!!

Then the 24th which was Sunday I went white water rafting. Was so beautiful as the river ran amongst all of the mountains and the trees. Still didn't see any bears though. Last night the guy who drives the hostel shuttle bus even took us out bear spotting and we still didn't see any. We did see a deer and a squeaky mountain mouse thing though. Also a beautiful lake and this really scary canyon. Canada is sooo beautiful.

Today is our last day in Jasper, we've decided to go horseriding around the lakes as for the next day or so we will be stuck on a train, then bring on a week in Vancover, more mountains whoop whoop.

hmmm yeah we have been really unlucky in not seeing any bears but we have seen moose, elk, deer squirrels and of course the mousey thing, may have been a degu!!
